![]() | Wii
Buy new: $195.99 / Used from: $74.95 First of all, there is the system itself: the Wii Console. It normally comes with one remote controller (with protective grip cover) and "nunchuck" (you will want more than 1 remote/nunchuck), and a game disc for "Wii Sports". Note that the latest version from Amazon.com comes bundled also with a "MotionPlus" and "Wii Sports Resort"

![]() | Wii Sports
Buy new: $28.90 / Used from: $15.88 OK, you don't have to buy this, as it is included with the Wii. It's got 5 fun sport games:
Tennis, (wave the remote like a racquet), Baseball (swing the remote like a bat), Golf (simulate a golf swing with the remote), Bowling (squeeze the trigger, swing the remote underhand, and release the trigger to let the ball go), and Boxing (swing the remote and nunchuck to move your boxer's fists)

![]() | Wii Play with Wii Remote
Buy new: $26.13 / Used from: $14.44 One of the first things to get for your Wii is another remote. You can get it bundled with a great package called Wii Play (we found it at another store in a bundle that also had a nunchuck). Wii Play has 9 fun games: Shooting Range, Find Mii, Table Tennis, Pose Mii, Laser Hockey, Fishing, Billiards, Charge!, and Tanks!

![]() | Limited-Edition Wii Sports Resort Bundle with Two Wii MotionPlus
Buy new: $74.95 / Used from: $54.99 Newer Wii bundles include Sports Resort & MotionPlus; if you don't already have it, buy as soon as possible!
The MotionPlus hooks to the remote & gives more precision/accuracy to the Wii Sensors.
The games are fun, and include: Swordplay, Wakeboarding, Frisbee, Archery, Basketball, Table Tennis, Golf, Bowling, Power Cruising, Canoeing, Cycling, and Air Sports (each sport has several variations).

![]() | Wii Fit Plus with Balance Board
Buy new: $89.54 / Used from: $67.15 This includes the Wii Fit board (balance board/scale) and "fitness" exercises & games that take advantage of it. Balance Exercises, Yoga poses, Strength Training, Aerobics, Balance Training Games. (I like the jogging & cycling games, and the "Lotus Focus" meditation game). The board can also be used by some other Wii games.

![]() | Lego Star Wars: The Complete Saga
Buy new: $17.60 / Used from: $8.39 The adventure of Star Wars meets the creativity of Lego meets the unique controls of the Wii. We haven't had time to play the whole adventure, but it's fun to play out Lego-styled adventures, wielding the lightsaber with the Wii remote!
|
![]() | Game Party
Buy new: $17.01 / Used from: $3.32 Pub games: Darts, Table Hockey, Skill Ball (skee-ball), Hoop Shoot, Ping Cup (beer pong), Shuffle Board, & Trivia. Alas, it doesn't use "Mii" characters, it has a selection of pre-made people which you have to choose from each time (characters & names don't save), some of the games don't have multi-player mode. Darts = pretty good (aside from repetitive music), Ping Cup = dire, the rest are "meh".

![]() | Where the Wild Things Are
Buy new: $12.65 / Used from: $2.99 Play Max, and run around the island, jumping, climbing, whacking stuff, and interacting with the Wild Things. We kind of got this for kids to play with, but it seems pretty fun.
|
![]() | Little King's Story
Buy new: $23.20 / Used from: $13.24 Role-Paying Adventure and Society Simulator. You play an inexperienced ruler of a small country and must organize your citizens, explore, expand the kingdom through alliances and fighting, etc. Another one I haven't completed, but have had fun playing!
|
![]() | Trivial Pursuit
Buy new: $44.91 / Used from: $8.00 The classic trivia game, plays pretty much how you would expect. A lot of fun, the only complaint is the text is sometimes hard to read on the TV screen.
|
![]() | Lego Rock Band
Buy new: $14.98 / Used from: $4.96 Music game meets the creativity (and silliness) of Lego. OK, so far the only instrument we have is a microphone, which means it's more like playing a karaoke game, but it is loads of fun. They certainly earn points for rendering Queen star Freddy Mercury as a Lego minifigure!
|
![]() | Karaoke Revolution Bundle
Buy new: $96.91 / Used from: $49.99 Karaoke game (without an annoying "Disney" or "American Idol" theme), USB microphone included. Harder than you might think. Includes classic rock and newer songs.
